Seasons Zero & One

This is the official access page for seasons One and Zero of "Solum" as well as the historical documentation of each episode.

How it all started

"Solum" is an indie animation series published on YouTube by Solum Anderson. He started this project at the age of 16. He was looking for something to do and is a huge fan of the "Mythrodak" series. He decided he wanted to tell his own story using his own characters, but was too lazy to create his own world, so he decided to write fan fiction. Season Zero of "Solum" is fanfiction to the "Mythrodak" series having many of the same characters. He would work on this series for a year or so before feeling that the creative limits of fan ficion were holding him back, so he decided to end the series in its current state and transfer the characters to 'A New World' (pun intended) to be able to have a fresh canvas as to work on. This is the begining of Season One, which is where the story is today.

Season Zero

This season is part of the "Mythrodak" fan fiction. It tells the story of Solum, the son of a fisher man, who wants to to ascend the ranks of the army to be a part of the "Citadel 4", the top ranking generals of the land overseen by Plumkin, the deity protecting the land. Solum almost succeeds in his goal, but everything goes awry when he and a group of his fellow students are poisoned by an evil cultist/scientist who want to fufil "the prophecy". Solum and his fellow students then try to kill everything in sight. They all disperse across the land to wreak havoc, compelled by the disease in their brains. Plumkin and the Citadel 4, to various degrees of success, stop each of the infected students, either by killing them or imprisoning them, all except for Solum. Solum is to cunning to be caught and too tough to be killed for the 100th time. He eventually learns that one of the members of the Citadel 4 has gone rouge and the plot to poison the students was an inside job. Solum fuled by his lust for blood and revenge seeks to destroy Carter for his actions as well as kill everyone in the citadel. He succeeds in killing Carter, but before he can turn his wrath on anyone else the now not so evil cultist/scienist decided to create a cure an gave it to Mavrik, another member of the citadel 4 and mentor of Solum's. Mavrik splashed Solum with the antidote and he returns back to his normal self. Beofre anyone can do anything, however, the world explodes. Solum, Mavrik, Bob, and everyone else in the citadel survives and are transported to the next nearest world due to the longdistance cross-dimensional cosmolecular entity transporter in Solum's pocket tripping due to a world destroying event caused by Mythrodak's defeat of Plumkin. Using "The World Menu" Mythrodak deletes the world causing it to fracture and disseminate to the nearist world capsule entity. This is where Season Zero, and subsequently the fan fiction, ends and Season One begins. Just because the fan fiction ends does not mean that Season Zero is not canon; It is, just only in the Solum Cinematic Universe.

Hello

This is the first video ever made for Solum. This was suppposed to be the introduction to the series, and to this day it it still canon, but all of season zero is Mythrodak fan fiction. That means that while it is canon in the SolumTV Cinematic Universe, it is NOT canon anywhere else. This episode introduces the character Solum as well as establishing his intent of action.

Training EP. 3

This is the fifth episode of Season Zero. It is the last episode of Solum's training. Considered by many to be a filler episode.

Catching Up

A milestone in the series because the story really picks up as Solum Anderson hones in on his story-telling abilities. The episode skips forward from what we see in the las training episode. We see Solum captured by the Citadel 4. He is being interogated by Bob, Solum recounts the tale of the events leading up to the inciting incident, but can't remember anything afterwards. We later see after the interogation is over what happened and how Solum came upon the longdistance cross-dimensional cosmolecular entity transporter. The episode ends with Solum having activated the device, showcasing its ability to transport the user to different worlds.

Infiltrating The Citadel

This episode takes place inbetween the inciting incident and shows up to Solum's capture. Solum is camped outside near the Citadel. He is looking for a way to break in. After he decides on a way he goes for it and breaks into the underground railway running underneath the Citadel. He follows the rails to the Citadel's storage room. He tries to look for supplies but all of the chests are empty. Before he can figure out why a guard come into the room. He decides to move down the hallway deeper into the Citadel. He comes across a guard, who he defeates, but the guard, after he respaws, alerts the other guards and the Citadel's alarm is set off. He comes face to face with Carter, but is able to escape down one of the railways. Upon his arival to the end of the rail Citadel guards are waiting for him and they capture him. He is brought to Plumkin where he is tried and sentanced to imprisonment.

The End

This episode picks up immediately where the last one leaves off. Solum breaks out of his containment chamber after being prompted to by RED. He breaks into the Citade's armory and makes a mad dash through the Citadel with the entire guard force on his tail. He ends up running to a bridge and blowing it up. He jumps off and water bucket clutches on the ground. None of the guards can catch him in time and he get away. Solum goes to the home of the, now retired, Carter. He sneaks in and tries to kill him, but Carter gets away and rides his horse back to the Citadel. He tells Maverik that his student is trying to kill him and gets the entire guard force ready for an attack. Solum goes back to the Citadel, on foot, and walks in through the lobby, where everyone is waiting. With the power of RED Solum is able to defeat the guard force. Carter and Maverik run away. Maverik runs to Bob and tells him to go get the antidote from the now not so evil cultist/scientist. Carter runs for his life to the roof. Solum follows him and they fight to the death. Solum strikes Carter down and as he does Maverik splashes him with the anitdote. RED is defeated by BLUE and Solum is given back control of his body.

Season One

As Season Zero closes very dramatically, Season One starts with 'A New World' where no one knows what's going on, even Solum. This season is still being written. This page will be updated as the episodes come out.

A New World

Solum wakes up in the middle of the woods without his memory. He has no idea where or who he is. He decides to build a house to shelter himself from the weather. Once he does this he grows restless and decides he want to explore. He heads out in one direction and walks for a while before coming acrost something strange, a man made structure. He crosses the mysterious bridge signaling to him that he is not the only one in these woods. He follows the path at the other side of the bridge to an abandoned town. He is greeted by a tank which identifies him as a threat and fire upon him. He gets out of the way and runs back to the safty of his house. As he is going to bed he hears a window downstairs break. The episode ends with Solum drawing his sword.

Who Are You?

Episode two opens exactly where episode one leaves off. Solum goes downstairs to explore the noise. He finds a person has broken into his house. He makes himself known and the intruder flees. Solum catches up to him and stops him. Before he can ask him any questinos the tank from the previous episode has followed him. Both he and the intruder run back into his house and Solum puts out all of the lights. The tank rolls up, inspects the house, then leaves because it thinks the house is abandoned. Solum then grills the intruder with questions. He finds out that the intruder's name is Scott and he only broke in to hid from the tank. They talk for a while and Solum finds out that Scott has been sent on a mission by his father to find Gunter, an engineer who is wanted by the Fidus. Solum leaves with Scott to see if he can figure out the mystery of this new land and figure out who he is. They arrive at Gunter's bunker, but the door has been blown off. They assume he has been kidnapped by the Fidus so they take off toward the man Scott knows can help them.

Kidnapped

Episode three starts with showing that other buildings from the previous world are still coming over. An unfortunate farmer is stuck with a mess hall in his field. We see that the Fidus have a base and the soldiers that went to report what happened on the farm. We get a glimpse of their leader. We now pick up where Solum & Scott left off. They are waking up in the woods after running 20 miles from Gunther's empty bunker. They find their way to a shipping outpost where Scott takes Solum to the upper floor of a bar to talk to Henry. Henry tells Scott that he does not have the power to recruit people and asks Solum to go downstairs. He does and is talked to by the bar tender. He tells the bartender his story and the bartender says that his story is similar to others and he goes and tells Henry. Henry puts Solum under arrest and tries to send Scott to investigate a nearby Fidus base, but Scott won't go without Solum so Henry lets him go. Solum distracts the guard infront of the prison while Scott sneaks in. He finds Albert who is an illegal arms dealer who got caught. He tells Scott that the people in the prison were transfered and Scott frees him. They meet back up and Solum knocks out the guard who was close behind him. They put him in a makeshift cell in the bar and they interogate him.. He doesn't give up any info so they go outside to think about what to do next.

The Future

The series ends as of here since no episodes have been made since the last one. Episodes of Solum are still being produced. The last episode came out over a year ago. The reason for this is that Solum Anderson is one person doing the work of a film company. Episode three is almost done and Solum's fans are hungrily wating. Not really.
